The client wanted a new dental clinic across from the Metropolitan Boulevard. To achieve the client’s goal of creating an attractive space, the architects needed to develop an implementation strategy tailored to the specific site and redesign the property’s outer shell.

The building comes across as a giant slab of ivory, with a strategically-placed notch that maximizes natural light while limiting people’s view of the adjacent highway and maximising the opaque walls to allow the dentists to do their work. The entrance features high ceilings for both aesthetic appeal and heat reduction.

The new clinic elevates the neighbourhood thanks to its modern architecture, its sophisticated facade, and the skillful balance of height differences that brings its personality to life.
