Côte-des-Neiges Service Centre Desjardins

 

 

 

 

 

The Côte-des-Neiges Service Centre Desjardins chose to relocate its service centre to a rented space on Queen-Mary, near the University of Montreal. Cardin Julien was mandated to spearhead the interior design based on Desjardins’ new criteria regarding the relationship between spaces (customer journey). They also needed to incorporate finishes designed for a young and dynamic clientele.

 

The new space, which is cramped and laid out in a “U” shape, was difficult to arrange in a way that achieved the fluidity requested by the client. Playing with opacity and transparency helped respond to functional needs. A dynamic ceiling links the spaces and guides foot traffic. The space is clean and cozy thanks to carefully-selected finishes, created in the local clientele’s image.
