Arching over Highway 132, the new Normandie walkway connects LeMoyne Park and Marie-Victorin Park following the demolition of the old walkway during the winter of 2015. The city wants the new walkway to be accessible to everyone, not just cyclists: it was designed for universal use given local demographics (multiple senior homes, etc.).

A staircase on each side of the walkway provides quick access for pedestrians. On the river side, the staircase extends towards a belvedere that is 20m above the ground, where beautiful views of Longueuil, Montérégie, the river, and Montreal await you!
