The project involves adding a roof and equipment to make the use of the outdoor stage at André-J.-Côté Park permanent. The proposal is characterized by a light, open, and minimalist intervention on the ground.
The project is part of an effort to restore and enhance the heritage character of the Brunning House and the former Town Council Hall. These converted spaces now house functions for visual arts, sculpture, and the Lasalle Historical Society.
The client wanted a new clinic that was attractive, visible, and easily accessible. To achieve the client’s goal of creating an inviting space, Cardin Julien developed an implementation strategy tailored to the specific site and redesigned the property’s exterior envelope.
International architecture competition for the New Guatemala Observatory. Cardin Julien was a finalist for the competition (one of the 8 out of 657 entries) and even received a special mention for its original concept.
The goal of this international architecture competition was to create a new exhibition pavilion that showcases the nuclear industry’s achievements and know-how.
For this project, a family home was extended into the backyard. The kitchen was renovated and extended, creating a link between the existing ground floor footprint and the outdoor terrace dining area. These changes transformed the kitchen into a central space on the ground floor – a spot for family and friends to gather.
